Surfing is the coolest sport around and there is no better place to learn than on the Pacific Ocean beaches near FLS International MiraCosta College. Learn how to surf where it all started, on the beaches of California, while you work on your English skills.

About the program

The campus is ideally located near the beautiful Southern California coastline. On weekdays, you’ll head to the beach for 2 hours of surf class to learn the basics or how to improve your current surfing skills. All the instructors are certified surfers with years of ocean experience and teach at a professional level.

Surfing is one of the most exhilarating and natural experiences available. Nothing can match the rush of paddling for the perfect swell, jumping to your feet and riding a wave of pure energy. If you’ve never tried surfing you’re going to love it!

Program Includes

• 10 lessons of surfing per week
• Surfboard and rashguard rental
• 20 lessons of English per week or 10 additional lessons of surfing
• Excursions to the Surf Museum and a surfboard manufacturer
